Are you an experienced GP VMO or an ED Reg who enjoys a high acuity of work?

Enjoy challenging emergency medicine in a bustling mining township located on the doorstep of the most visited national park in the Pilbara region.

The Position
GP VMO - $2750 per shift for working at TPMC and TPH/PH Monday to Friday. This is the minimum guarantee. 70% GP billings over the minimum guarantee. $2500 per shift at TPH/PH for Saturday and or Sunday. When rostered on Saturday AM clinic at TPMC doctors will received 70% of GP billings. Would need to complete credentialing with WACHS for Hospital work which we facilitate on their behalf.

ED Registrar - $2500 per shift for TPH/PH
Must have substantial ED experience, PGY6+ (ACEM Trainee preferable) with experience in a rural setting.  Would need to complete credentialing with WACHS for Hospital work which we facilitate on their behalf.

On-call for the TPH and PH from 08:00 until 22:00 for Category 1 to 5 patients. From 22:00 to 08:00, doctors on call for TPH and PH will only be called for patients in danger of losing life or limb, as directed by Emergency Telehealth Services (ETS)/Karratha Health Campus (KHC). ETS will be on call for ATS 1-3 presentations and KHC ED for ATS 4 and 5 presentations. Doctor on call to present at TPH by 8am for ward rounds ect.
GP CLINIC ONLY - $1600 or 70% billings (whichever is the greater) for stand-alone clinic days (no on call) Monday to Friday. Saturday AM will be $1000 or 70% billings (whichever is the greater) for stand-alone clinic days (no on call),
GP VMOs and GPs working at TPMC must be able to deliver the following services as a General Practitioner:
    • Minor operative procedures including Implanon
    • Diagnosis and treatment of short term and chronic illness.
    • Travel advice and immunization
    • Men’s and women’s health checks
    • Skin Cancer checks and treatment
    • Occupational medicine, pre-employment medicals, Workcover
    • Childhood vaccinations
    • Obstetric care

Working in this diverse mining town on the doorstep of Karijini National Park could utilise the full scope of your rural generalist skills including general practice, occupational health, acute injury treatment and management, and much more.

Emergency trainees (PGY6+ ACRRM/ACEM trainee) and general registrants may be considered for ED only coverage with $2500/day guarantee
