Are you an experienced Rural Generalist than enjoys a high acuity of work?

Enjoy challenging emergency medicine in a bustling mining township located on the doorstep of the most visited national park in the Pilbara region.

The Position
You will require recent ED experience and references (within the past 6 months) as this role is predominantly onsite for all Cat 1-5 presentations in the Emergency Department until 10pm then call outs for Cat 1-2 only or when required by ETS.
  • April - July dates available
  • Shared 1:2 / 1:3 ED on call (0800-0800)
  • Up to $2750/day when rostered for on call & GP clinic
  • 2-8 week blocks available
  • Flights, car & family friendly accommodation provided 
  • 25-27 patients in GP clinic when not rostered on call 
  • Mon to Fri GP sessions + alternating Sat AM
  • Well-equipped treatment rooms
  • Excellent nursing team
  • Medical Director / Pracsoft
  • Current ALS2 & central line +/- intubation capabilities and prior remote Emergency experience.  
The Location
Working in this diverse mining town on the doorstep of Karijini National Park could utilise the full scope of your rural generalist skills including general practice, occupational health, acute injury treatment and management, and much more.

  • Multiple, daily, direct flights to Perth (less than 2 hours)

Emergency trainees (PGY6+ ACRRM/ACEM trainee) and general registrants may be considered for ED only coverage with $2200/day guarantee
