The journey began with a chance introduction between Dr Jean Covey of Gold City Medical Centre and DXC Medical at the 2024 Practice Owners Conference in Cairns. Jean had a clear goal that she wanted to onboard two promising GPs from Bangladesh. But, like many practice owners navigating international recruitment can be challenging, initially she was provided the wrong paperwork and conflicting information around supervision guidelines.
